Internationally known artist Bon (born 1919) received her training at Purdue University, Indiana; the Central Academy of Commercial Art, Ohio; and the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago. |

She has studied under such famous artists as Disney artist Jack Hannah, Tom Fong, Duval Elliot, and Ralph Sperry, to name a few. Bon is equally at ease with water color, oil and gouache. She has a unique sense of color, value, shape, light and perspective that makes the images come alive. Quite often her works will invoke a smile in the viewer. Other images create viewer reflection. Her works have won several honors and awards, and can be found in some of the most prestigious collections in the world. |
