Redlands Calendar of Events
Market Night, Every
Thursday Evening from 6 to 9 pm
Heading into its sixteenth year, the Redlands Market Night continues to be one
of the most successful markets in southern California. Every Thursday evening
year round, patrons can find farm fresh produce, a variety of vendor and food
booths, and lively entertainment in a family oriented atmosphere.
Friday, April 29, 2006: Vintage Redlands Walking Wine
Tour
Vintage Redlands is a walking wine tour that progresses through various downtown
businesses. Businesses offer wines, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts to guests.
Vintage Redlands is a fundraiser for the Citrograph Scholarship Fund, a member
of the Redlands Community Foundation. Scholarships are awarded to students
pursuing an education in Music, Business, or Graphic Design. Tickets are
required for this event, and will be available in the spring.
Saturday, May 6th, 2006, A Chair
Affair Silent Auction

Culminates a two
month exhibit and silent auction of Adirondack rocking chairs that have been
hand
painted by
locally and internationally renowned artists.
Thirteen chairs are displayed at the following
locations until May 6th: Hensler Fine Art, Hockridge Florist, Redlands Jewelers,
Crackerjack Gift Co.,
Crate-Tivity, GMAC Real Estate, Blesch & Associates, Furry Face Cafe and Boutiki,
Celebrate Redlands,
Signs Now, PAWS, Comic Quest and Redlands Art Association. (Note: all locations
are located within
5 blocks of each other. Stop by any of the merchants and get a location guide.)
The exhibit will culminate
on May 6th at Ed Hales Park, located at Fifth & State Streets. Last minute bids
may be made at that time.
Live entertainment will be featured. Proceeds will go towards beautification of
downtown Redlands. Contact

Monday, October 31, 2005: Safe Trick or Treat
Costumed
children know the place to be on Halloween afternoon is downtown Redlands! The
Downtown Redlands Business Association provides its participating merchants with
goodies for all the ghosts and goblins crowding the streets. Halloween stories,
both silly and spooky, are featured in Ed Hales Park, compliments of our
downtown Frugal Frigate Bookstore.
Saturday, November 12, 2005: Holiday Open House
The
holiday season kicks off with old-fashioned hospitality. A variety of
entertainment lines the street, including complimentary carriage rides, and our
downtown merchants offer refreshments and specials of the day to their patrons.
Thursday, November 17, 2005: Harvest Festival
Turkeys, farm fresh produce,
flowers, and gifts are all included in the goody bags given away the Market
Night prior to Thanksgiving courtesy of our weekly farmers and vendors.
Customers are provided with free tickets to participate in the prize drawings in
celebration of the fall harvest.
Saturday, December 3, 2005: Christmas Parade
Watch as the streets of
downtown transform into a magical, twinkling route of floats, marching bands,
antique vehicles, and local dignitaries. The Christmas Parade is one of the
community’s favorite events.
